Welcome Winter

With the first full week in November, realizing that evenings for the next several months will be spent in darkness, and a quiet snowfall this morning and we realize that winter is coming though not with a roar but more like a gentle nudge.

Things are busy as always, back home for a couple of weeks we are trying to keep focused on the things that we should be focused on, like balancing mission ministry and work, church ministries and EMT classes.

On the home front: we spent the last weekend in "baby land" when we were able to attend birth classes in Duluth. It was a six week course all jammed into one weekend. It was pretty intense and we certainly learned a lot. It got us motivated to do some more preparations (see the accompanying photos).

On the Missions front: God continues to do some very special things in our lives and we give Him praise. When we run the numbers of those who have promised to support us and who are supporting us we often do a double take, it doesn't seem possible. We share this with you so that you might rejoice with us at the wonderful thing that God is doing. We are currently at close to 65% of our needed monthly support. Wow!! Our outfit level continues to grow too and sits at 81%. Double wow!!

We are so excited about the wonderful things God is doing. Will you praise Him with us?

We are home for a couple of weeks now. Jon will be speaking this Sunday AM at Grace and Truth Bible Church then next Thursday we hit the road for South Dakota again to enjoy a weekend in Murdo for their Harvest Banquet.

After that, we'll be setting up house and preparing for our child's arrival. As always: thanks for praying with us for the needs of those around us, you, and in Brazil who are desperate for purpose, meaning and of course a relationship with Jesus Christ.
