From Wyoming to Minnesota

Sometimes progress is hard to come by. Other times God graciously chooses to grant us innumerable blessings simply because He is good. That's kind of the way we look at April. We must not ever begin to assume that for some reason God owes us this kind of blessing because of our exceptional character (which it isn't) or deep passion (which often is shallow) or our overall exceptional spirituality (which is mostly inconsistent). God's grace has some incomprehensible aspects to it. This is really the essential element of grace after all. Grace is undeserved. Grace is limitless. Grace is purposed to redound to the glory of God.

We have had one of those months. God has chosen to unleash His grace and provision in ways that are unmistakable. Our journeys took us west to Oshoto under the shadow of a certain unique rock tower of an ungodly name. We also went north for a visit near the birthplace of this country's greatest river. A couple of highlights include a clay pigeon shoot where Jon actually managed to hit a few, an orthodontist appointment, and bitter sweet goodbye to Arnie (see below).

Our hearts rejoice at what God continues to do in our lives. God continues to raise up a partnership team that is willing to make sacrifices to see the gospel continued to be carried out in Brazil. We are overwhelmed and grateful.

Thanks for praying for us and for being a part of our lives. We are blessed to have relationships with each of you.

We will help our brother Peter celebrate his graduation on May 5th, our sister Liz on May 6th, head for missions presentations in Dix, NE on the 15th, in Maxwell, NE on the 22th, and in Harrison, NE on the 29th.
