The Weekend

(yawn)
Good morning! :)
This weekend is full of youth group activities - why we planned them all for the same weekend, we do not know but we're enjoying it all. :) Friday evening was Middle School - a girl's sleepover at the church, and guy's night at our place. We all ate tons of pizza and junk food. :)
This afternoon we're hanging out with our high school group, along with Ivan and Laura, and Pat (Liz has to work). We told the kids to meet at the church at 2 and bring $10, but didn't give them any other information as to what we will be doing or where we'll be going. So, I can't give you any information either - just in case.

Please keep us in prayer as we continue to work alongside and seek to encourage those who have stepped in to minister with our youth. We praise God for each one of them! And keep our youth in prayer, as well. They all have their unique needs and desires, and we need the Lord's wisdom to meet them where they are and minister to them effectively. Praise the Lord for His Spirit within us!!!
Jon has a full plate of responsibilities for this next week - pray for him as he teaches Pastor Matt's classes on Monday and Wednesday while Pastor Matt is away with his family. (His father went to be with the Lord last Wednesday night.) Also please remember Pastor Matt and Kellie at this time. Thank you for sharing with us through your prayers!

Well, the morning is quickly passing by and soon it will be time to head out on our adventure with the kids. Yikes! :)
