Nebraska

Denielle read these verses to me this morning from Mark 8: "Now the disciples had forgotten to take bread, and they did not have more than one loaf with them in the boat . . . and they reasoned among themselves saying, 'It is because we have no bread.'
"But Jesus, being aware of it, said to them, 'Why do you reason because you have no bread? Do you not yet perceive nor understand? Is your heart still hardened? Having eyes, do you not see? . . . When I broke the five loaves for the five thousand, how many baskets full of fragments did you take up?'
"They said to Him, 'Twelve.' . . .
"So he said to them, 'How is it you do not understand?'"

Sometimes we're just as silly! Praising God for His provision in one breath and wondering what we're going to do during the next. Jesus only moments before had fed 4,000 people out of one loaf and the disciples already begin to question where their food was going to come from.

We thank God for His faithful provision through so many of you. Thanks to those who have been with us already for several months/years. Thanks for those who just recently joined the effort. Each one of you is precious to us.

More: We had a truly special time this last weekend visiting family and friends who also happen to be supporters. We took our brother Peter with us and our friend Jenna. We "shared a moment" at the infamous Carhenge in Alliance, NE (see top picture). Nephews Aiden and Jared enjoy the excitement of some company for a few hours while Niece Taliah is definitely overjoyed by the attention she is getting from adoring uncles. We loved meeting Anneka and Alethia for the first time.

On Sunday we shared in Ministry with our dear friends at Bible Baptist Church. They were a tremendous blessing to us and encouragement in ministry. It was especially fun to renew a friendship with David and Monica.
