The cold weather continues to stick around and provide it's unique and special beauty to the southern black hills. We keep the fire built up and start the cars early to keep warm. The beauty found in this current storm has been nothing less than spectacular. It has been a beautiful reminder of the way God takes care of our sins. (See below)
I (Jon) have been devotionaly reading though Lewis Sperry Chafer's classic, He that is Spiritual and have been greatly blessed by it. One particular highlight is also listed below. I hope that you might be blessed by it too. Ministry must be a result of submission to the Spirit. We are not able to reproduce anything spiritual or wholesome in our flesh which is contaminated by "hazardous materials."
We head for Nebraska Saturday. We get to spend the afternoon and evening with our family and then Sunday morning we head to Scottsbluff for a day of fellowship with Bible Baptist Church. We appreciate your prayers for us this weekend.
Our ongoing work continues to be of an encouraging/helping nature to those who are carrying the torch in Hot Springs. We are working on filling up the rest of the winter and spring months with meetings. Thanks for praying for us.
Make sure you let us know how we can pray for you!
