Refreshing

We've had a little blast of Brasil this weekend and it has been refreshing. Yesterday Al and Nadine visited Dix Bible Church. They have been in Brasil for 30 years now and we've enjoyed every visit to Brasil when they have made us welcome and at home. We are challenged by their love for Christ and committment to service, we are blessed by their prayers and encouraged by their drive and vision. We have a lot to learn from them.

This afternoon Bill and Sandi showed up at the front door. They haven't been in Brasil for a number of years because of health issues but have continued on in service for Christ. I understand that missionaries have to be ingenius and inventive. (This, I must admit, are two of my major weeknesses.) Bill's picture is in the missionary dictionary next to ingenuity and inovation. I have a lot to learn from them.

What a blessing and motivation this has been to continue earnestly in prayer for our visa's approval and faithfully minister in the realm and sphere where we are.

We are hitting the road this week and heading to Hot Springs, SD. It will be good to see friends and family whom we thought we had said goodbye too back in June.
