Whew, Two Weeks ago . . .

We have been through a few monumental weeks to say the least. Here are a few of the answers to your prayers:

Heavenly Father, Please tell us what we want, the Conclusion.
Two weeks ago today we signed a contract on a new house to rent. Smaller, quieter, and more affordable, we think it puts us in a better neighborhood full of young families and dogs. Thanks for praying for this. Because we thought Carter (see below) would come sooner than he did, we ended up with a quick decision to move in the middle of last week (before he arrived instead of after), called a few friends from church and were all moved in last Thursday.

Family
The next morning we headed to the airport to pick up Denielle´s dad, aunt and cousin who will be here until the 12th. It´s been a "festa" to say the least.

Carter David
After a week of irregular contractions, he finally got serious about seeing the outside world on Monday. We are thanking God for a safe birth, smooth (as possible) labor, lots of family and friends nearby and four wonderful days with a new life. ElliAnna likes being a big sister. Denielle is glad to not be pregnant. Jon is relieved that Mom O is here. We all give thanks for this newest piece to our family. For more pictures, check out the album on Jon's facebook profile. If we aren't already friends, just ask!
We all love this bundle God chose to put in our family. What can we do but praise? (And yes, thank you, we know that Carter doesn't come out too well in Portuguese.)

God's Abundance
It seems that at times when it would appear that we have hit rock bottom, God's chooses to unload His goodness and shower His grace in amazing ways, once again proving His goodness and faithfulness. May He be praised for safety, because He sees the end from the beginning and understands the timing, for gifts of generosity from unexpected places, and faithfully teaching us that He is worthy of our praise.

Thanks for the post; it made my day.
