To Mossoro and Home Again

One stretch of road on our way to Mossoro was incredible. . .

I'd never seen potholes so grande! At times, both lanes would be full of potholes - the kind you want to avoid completely - and we'd kind of play chicken with the oncoming traffic!
The Lord graciously kept us from being swallowed up or being squashed by another vehicle. . .as we all drove through the maze!

After returning home, Jon and I talked over our time in Mossoro. We both agreed that though it was not a great weekend for practicing Portuguese, it was an excellent weekend for fellowship, encouragement, and refreshment. We were exceedingly blessed by our time with each family. Thank you all for your hospitality!!

ElliAnna was overjoyed to have playmates! They all doted on her every minute they could!

This was one of her favorite pastimes during the weekend!

We arrived home last Monday and were relieved to find out that we felt as though we were returning "home" to our apartment here in Fortaleza. Thank You, God! Since we arrived home, ElliAnna has pushed two teeth through, we've had good classes, and have enjoyed some cool, "rainy season type" days. Thanks to you all for continuing to pray for us!
