A ski day!

While I leisurely browse through my (rather lazy) "To Do" list for the day, my hubby is enjoying a day of skiing with a bunch of folks from church! I'm so happy for him. . .and I'm praying that there will be no broken bones or concussions or anything else of that sort as a result of today's activities. :) Paranoia? Nah. :)
I've really been enjoying learning more and more about labor and birth these days. Our really good friends Pat and Liz just had their baby this past week (Congratulations again!!!!!!! :)) - and that put us into some very significant "baby fever" moments. :) But, while our baby could safely arrive at any moment now, we're content (for the most part :)) to wait as long as God has us to. Actually, our care provider will be out of the area until the 20th, so we are praying that baby will wait to be born until she gets back. Maybe you could pray for that with us, too? :) Regardless of when this little one is born, our first request of the Lord is that through the birth, He would receive glory. So good to rest in His love!!!
Y'all should see the progress in the baby room these days! While we were out west for Christmas, Mom and Dad O came over and painted Baby's room a bright cheery yellow. It's so cute! Then, Jon found this really sweet old door that has window panes all the way down it, he installed it in the baby's room, and has been painting it. Plus, last night he showed his excellence in creativity again by "freehand" painting a verse on the wall in the baby room. I love it!!! Jon's going to be such a great dad . . . he is already!!! :) I just love him. :)

It's always amazing to me that just when you think you can't get any bigger, you do. I don't know if you are having any of those thoughts right now, but I remember them!=) You are still looking as cute as ever! I'm glad to hear things are coming together for the baby's room! I wish I could have the chance to come out there and help with something! But, I know your in a lot of good hands!!=) Love you much! Talk to you soon!
