Two Years

Last Monday (the 20th) Denielle and I celebrated something that we had only celebrated once before, our anniversary. As we settled into Dad and Mom's camper for the evening, (the sparkling grape juice and candle lit table were nice touches) it wasn't without a sense of significance over all that has transpired in our lives over the last two years. Don't get me wrong, we do not feel like we have experienced anything extra special that countless others do not also go through on a regular basis- because a proper perspective on life will tell us that with all that God has allowed in our lives the last two years, it is nothing compared to what the majority of people on the earth deal with on a daily basis.

Still, we desire that the things God does in our lives, be used to press us to Himself and challenge us to be more dependent upon Him. We also pray that the things we are blessed with will be used in the lives of others as God brings these them across our path.

I must say that these two years have been the best two years of my life and I cannot imagine sharing life with anyone else. God has given me the most precious gift outside of salvation when He gave me my wife.

I love you, Denielle!
