Alpha Educational Center

Alpha Educational Center in Mossoro, Rio Grande do Norte, Brasil is currently a pre-8 grade Christian School but has nearly unlimited potential for growth into pre-12 education and beyond. The missionaries at Alpha desire to train Christian educators and missionaries to help impact a culture and country that is infatuated with a humanistic and socialistic framework. In these two pictures teachers (and Denielle) spend time praying together as they prepare to begin a new School year (now underway for
about two weeks).
Alpha currently uses about a quarter of a city block, though they already demand much larger space. Construction seems to always be a part of the program at Alpha. In these two pictures, new classrooms, a band room, and cafeteria area are being built.
We are praying for Joe and Jeanie, Ken and Lori, and Ron and Ranelle as they serve here, both in the ministry of Alpha as well as the Cristo de Vida Igreja Batista. They lead a team of teachers as well as a group of church leaders.
