Brrrrrrr. . .

Well, back here in the cold and snow of the frozen north we are reminded that Brasil is a long way away. It makes us even more grateful for the time we were able to spend south of the equator. We learned a lot, some of the things that stuck out to us:

We have a lot to learn about missions!

Missions is about trusting God and submitting to Him (something that might appear hard but really is exceedingly rewarding and ultimately fulfilling).

Missions is about being stretched. There is no such thing as a comfort zone. This is another opportunity to throw ourselves on the grace of God!

Missions is about people. Really, what is a location but an opportunity to enjoy the things that are temporal. What really counts are the masses of people all around us who continue to live their lives as if this was all there is. . . whether it is in ignorance or denial. . . God's Word is enough!

Our schedule this weekend:
We're planning on heading back to Hot Springs on Monday. While we look not on those things that are temporal, forgive us if we are a little excited to sleep in our own bed (the last time we did that was the beginning of December).

This Sunday we are blessed with the opportunity to share our ministry with the folks at Boy River Log Chapel. We'll be sharing in both services as well as Sunday School. Thanks for praying for us.

Saturday night we get to say thank you to God for the example He's given us in Denielle's Grandparents. They are celebrating their 60th anniversary in February.

Hey,

Great updates, and pics. We're excited to see you guys again... to hear and to see the testimonies of grace you experienced. Plan to share with the church.
