I want to put our first furlough to rest by sharing with you a few joys in photo form of the events in the last three+ weeks in our lives. Many of these pics have been up on facebook already and the events well documented there. (I think that blogger is just a little bit more cumbersome of a way to instantly communicate. Hopefully it lends itself to more thoughtful and well developed ideas. But I digress.)
We are officially back on Brazilian soil where the flush button is on the top of the toilet and the TP goes in the trash can. Some things just strike you as odd- like the five band buses that line the street of the house where we live and the political advertising that happens through a loud speakers on the top of little cars and trucks. But, I digress once again ...
