The visa waiting game continues to drag on. Phone calls to the consulate have been mostly unproductive except to learn that they have changed another part of the process by using an online reporting system. It seems that we have caught this in the middle of drastic operating changes in the visa issuing process. Fun! We were reminded these days of some friends we have who are missionaries in Russia. They wrote to tell us of their visa woes which make this process for us seem like McDonald's.
However, we wait, and continue to look expectantly to the Lord for His good timing. When we say that they could come as soon as today or as far away as next month (or later) we are not exaggerating. Thanks for praying.
We had a good week of camp. For five days the camp was bustling with 108 campers. It was a blessing to be a part of it and we look forward to seeing the word of God blossom and produce fruit in the lives of those who attended. Thanks too for praying about this.
Pray with us as we wait. Sometimes it gets tough though we praise the Lord that He has chosen this good path for us to follow. Pray that we would be diligent to minister as we Abide in Christ during these days of waiting.
(You'll have to wait for new pictures of the baby. She is trying very hard to crawl these days but the camera didn't find its way to town with me this morning.)
