Last Friday and Saturday Denielle and I were able to attend an Answers in Genesis Conference in Rapid City, SD and were richly blessed by the things we heard and saw. It is a shame today that we as believers have allowed the world to not only dominate the debate but to define our position as well. We wake up every morning and thank God that the Creator of the scene that greets us out our windows also knows our name and the cries of our hearts. Such scenes grandeur and majesty, though amazing and incredible, do not dwarf the intricacies of what is happening in order for you to not only be able to but also to read these words. Whether it is the majesty of a mountain or the precision of the visual sensory system, everything around us screams of a Creator.
Evolutionary thinking permeates every aspect of thought and must be confronted in the media, in our textbooks, on the campus, and in our schools. Christians should be on the front lines of this battle, engaging, debating, and graciously winning hearts and minds through the Word of God.
