It seems like only yesterday but it was two weeks ago already that we were packing up the van to make the annual trek to Springfield, IL for our mission board's business meeting and banquet. $2.35 a gallon was as "cheap" as the gas got along the way and actually that's what we paid for it in Hot Springs right before we left. I think that was the first time we've ever found the "cheapest" gas in western South Dakota. The annual board business meeting and banquet is a good opportunity to check in with the home office, fellowship with missionaries who are home on furlough, and be refreshed and challenged in with the need to share the gospel.
God is good and we thank Him for safety in travel over many miles and for His provision for our needs in so many ways. We are especially thankful for the people with whom God has put us in contact. All throughout our journey we were blessed by believers who are taking a personal interest into the things that God is doing in our lives.
Knowing the many ways God provides for us is special, knowing that it comes from His gracious hand makes it grand. On that Sunday we were able to visit with a couple of churches we had been in last October. We got to teach the kids at Liberty Bible Church and then share with the body of believers at Middletown Bible Church again in the evening. We are very thankful for the relationships God has given us in both of those places and
we look forward to the continuing partnerships in the future.
On the way home we swung through Salina, KS to pick up Grandma Johnson
who will be spending part of the next month with us. Grandma has a real vibrant relationship with God and continues to be a challenge to us in this regard. We are looking forward to the days we get to spend with her and know that we will be able to treasure them for years to come.

Wow Johnson's! What a nice blog. I've never seen a blog before this one, but it sure is nice. Thanks for visiting us in Minnesota. I look forward to seeing you both again, hopefully soon! Jessie
