Denielle's Birthday :)

I had a super special birthday!!! Lots of phone calls and phone messages, 74 Facebook birthday greetings, snail mail cards, surprise gifts, strawberries and blueberries, and a day full of my favorite things with my favorite people...my hubby and 2 kiddos. :) Here are some pics of the day. Thanks to all of you who made my day SO special...(you know who you are, and I want you to know how much I appreciate your love for me!!!)
My birthday started out with a blueberry pancake breakfast - thank you Ellie D. and Jon!
And Jon had made up this sweet birthday wall for me. Love it, hon. :)

After breakfast, Phil and Rachel and Fabio came over for a meeting...bringing balloons and birthday surprises...including marshmallows! (Above is ElliAnna eating her first marshmallow. Needless to say, she's hooked.)

After our meeting in the morning we 3 (and baby) left for Porto Alegre, where we enjoyed a very American experience (courtesy of Phil and Rachel).....Applebees'! They had a super cool playplace for kids right next to where we sat to eat. El had it all to herself...puzzles, kid sized chairs and table, and a movie. :) We were finally able to tear El away from her playplace in time to enjoy some cherry limeade (ooooo good!), and our delicious food!!! ElliAnna decided that fries with ketchup were all she wanted to eat....Oh, and by the way, it was HEINZ ketchup at that. Delicious! :)

After washing our hands and face to remove the remaining traces of our ketchup meal (well, of El's anyway), I got some smooches. :)
And then we walked downstairs (to the food court of the mall) and had sundaes for dessert...After our sundaes we discovered these super cool animals, and had to take pics!
We made it to the doctor's office and had some waiting time...so we goofed off with the camera for a while.

El was allowed to play with the camera while we visited with Dr. Jones...she got a pic of him, sort of. :)
And upon our arrival home (after an hour of just for fun cruising (ie. we got lost) in the city, and then the 45 minute drive home), El remembered how she'd begun the special day...and asked for another marshmallow. What a sweet day! :)

I remember when Pizza Hut arrived in Chile, it was the first 'American' restaurant to get there and we were sooooo excited to go and eat there=) Glad to hear you had a good day! And, your hair is looking very cute!
