So . . . does everyone think it is funny to vote for twins?Well, it is a hot and sunny Friday afternoon. I am getting ready to head to an important meeting at church this Sexta-feira Santa. We have introduced a proposed constitution and are taking advantage of the holiday to get together as a church to look at it. This has been a wonderful experience to be a part of "writing" a church constitution. I say "writing" because we didn't really write it, it is a hybrid and secondly because I mostly was a present member of the meeting, not necessarily a contributing member. It has also been an exciting event to be a part of a church from (almost) the ground up. I love missions.
But, this Friday post turned into a Saturday post. We are well into the holiday weekend with an impending cold front headed our way promising to bring rain and much cooler temperatures next week. We probably will have lows in the fifties, highs in the mid 70s. Rough life.
This afternoon our small group of 7-10 youth are coming to our house. We call it our first Retirozinho (little retreat) but it is more like a lock-in. We were hoping to sleep the guys in hammocks on the yard but the impending cold front and rain means we will probably all have to be inside. Should be interesting. Sunday morning we plan to head to church for breakfast and Sunday School. At least three guys will be with us who are not saved. Thanks for praying.

Pastor Matt, I thought about a fourth choice, "other" but then got to thinking what exactly "other" might mean. We have been praying for you.
