Churrasco and Caixas

Our church here in Campo Bom had a celebratory welcoming meal for us and Phil and Rachel Stucky this Sunday after Sunday School. We enjoyed chimarrao (above photo - never mind Jon's expression, the tea is good - for reals :)), and a churrasco delicious beyond words!! We were able to spend some good time in fellowship with the other believers and truly were blessed by their generous and welcoming spirits!

Below: Rachel Stucky (far left) showing pics of her family to a few of the ladies at church.

Daniel, the churrasco man! He did a great job - wow, it was so delicious!!

Enjoying fellowship after the meal.
(notice the platter of roasted meat on the table there!)

Sunday was also the day that the truck came with all of our boxes from Fortaleza ~ yay!!
Here's a pic of Elli and Denielle waiting - smilingly - for the arrival of the truck.

Here it is! The driver had to back the truck up the hill because of the steep incline, but he made it!

The truck drivers unloading the boxes...

And Jon surveying the pile...
Now all we need is a place to put it all ~
we're excited to see God's provision in this area as well! :)
