Trips and Tales

"For your citizenship is in heaven." ~ Philippians

"When Christ, who is your life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory." ~ Colossians

"That having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life." ~Titus

"For it is good that the heart be established by grace . . ." ~Hebrews

A few thoughts from the bread precious to us on this rainy spring day in south central Kansas. Yesterday at about 11 AM Central time we passed the 3,000 mile mark since we left Aurora, MN just over three weeks ago. We praise the Lord for so many answered prayers this far. It wasn't until we had driven for about an hour into Kansas that we noticed obvious signs of spring as a hint of green began to show up on the otherwise barren, brown branches of few and far between trees.

We've spent a good week and a half in Nebraska and now are enjoying the time we get with Great Grandma Johnson and Uncle Don. The Lord has also allowed us to visit a lot of family and friends throughout our travels. With another full weekend ahead of us, we are excited share it with many deer loved ones.

Today I am sitting at a small coffee shop in Buhler, KS where my wireless connection is good. Consequently, I don't have the camera with me to share pics of the baby. She continues to grow and change and she is learning to flash her smile with great flair. Pictures to prove it will have to come later.

We ask prayer for these things:
>Quality time together as a family.
>Continued safety on the road.
>Wisdom in ministry and teaching.
>A deepening walk with God and love for His creation (people).
