Passports, Shipments, and Ray, MN

Make sure you read to the bottom to see the really great picture . . .

A little bit more snow this week and a lot more of it melted in the almost 40 degree days. We also enjoyed spending time with Denielle's family as we remembered Denielle's great-grandma who passed away last weekend. We did get ElliAnna in a photo with Grandma K. before she died. We are so thankful for the truth that Jesus Christ is the resurrection and the life and though worms destroy the body, in our flesh, as we come to God through Jesus Christ in faith, we will see God. Praise the Lord.

We hit the road again this weekend and head to the other end of the Iron Range where we will fellowship with believers at Boy River (AM) and Deer River (PM) on Sunday. Then next week we turn our attention towards putting together the rest of the things we will send to Brazil.

Here is a quick visual review of the last week of our lives.

The Lord gave us a fantastic day in Ray, MN (about 20 miles south of the Canadian border) last Sunday and we thank the Lord for the fellowship we enjoyed. We feel like we have a lot in common with this church body as their church building burned down in a lightning strike fire several months ago. In this picture, Pastor Cory Rintella poses for a picture with the children of their church.
This morning when I looked in the mail box I was surprised to see a priority envelope from the government. It was only a little over a week ago that we applied for ElliAnna's passport. I'm sure the mug shot she got will be a great source of joy and rejoicing for her in the years to come. Continue to pray for us to have wisdom as we make decisions about a departure date.
Last night I hit the road for the cities with one of the boys from the youth group to pick up some things that a church in central Nebraska had gathered for our shipment to Brazil. We are going to be sending some things with a missionary family who is returning to Brazil this summer. It was fun to get it out this morning and take inventory. What a blessing it is see God providing for us in these special ways.
And of course, we can't actually post anything without adding a picture of the cutest blue eyes you've ever seen.
