Greetings from the Northland! :) It's been just about a week since we arrived in Minnesota - and already we're wearing sweaters and socks. :) Fall is definitely in the air here! We're enjoying the colors as the leaves begin to change - it's really beautiful.
This is Denielle writing (as if the smiley faces were not a dead give away!), so please pardon the use of many smiles and exclamation points. . .:) Jon began work today doing construction/odd jobs for one of the men in the church here. The Lord provided this job for him and we are so grateful! Jon will be working full time as well as be taking an EMT course a couple nights a week. He's actually already begun the course and is doing a great job - of course. :)
We were able to make an appointment with our prenatal/birth care provider and will be meeting with her this Wednesday. I'm a bit nervous about it - mostly because this is all so brand new. That's the way this baby stuff is, though. :) I'm loving it. :)
Speaking of Baby, he (or she) is definitely doing some serious moving around inside my belly! (at least I'm pretty sure it's been baby. . .sometimes it's hard to distinguish between baby and belly rumblings. . .:)) Jon was able to feel some movement the other night, so that was really special!
Our search for housing has been kind of up and down - we are trusting the Lord that we'll know for sure where to settle by the end of today or tomorrow. . .and if we don't, we'll still trust Him to provide just like He promised He would. :) Thanks for praying with us concerning this.
This Saturday we had a long day of garage/rummage sale shopping! Mom O came with us to Duluth and we stopped at almost every place that had a green, pink, red, white "sale" sign by it. . .some of the best places we found were places we came across while searching for other places, and it turned out that the unintentional places were usually the ones with the best quality for the best price items! Whew! :) The Lord provided us with mostly solid wood furniture - enough to furnish our home - at very good prices. We praise Him! :) It's all in Mom and Dad O's garage right now. . . :)
Well, that's pretty much the big news for us so far today. We are continuing to revel in the good faithfulness of our Father. Thank you for loving us and praying for us - please continue!
We love you and look forward to hearing from you. :)
